What is an end-of-life doula?

A steady companion, not another clinician

An end-of-life doula offers non-medical companionship, planning support and emotional care to a person who is dying and to the people who love them. I work alongside your medical team, never in place of it, filling the quiet spaces where families most often feel alone.

That might look like organizing wishes into a clear plan, sitting through a long afternoon, recording a life story, or simply helping a family say the things they haven't found words for yet.

Meet Danielle

A nurse's wisdom, a neighbour's warmth

With more than 24 years as a Registered Nurse in Emergency and Public Health, I've spent much of my career caring for people during life's most vulnerable moments. As an end-of-life doula, I bring that same compassion, empathy and gentle presence to individuals and families navigating the final journey.

My hope is that you feel informed, supported and cared for, with room left for dignity, comfort, connection and the moments that truly matter.
